By the end of last Tuesday, I finally finished the last shot I had not done pencils for yet--the one from scene 2 where the kitten runs up the ditch towards the road. For this run cycle, I opted to make it extra speedy and choppy so that the franticness of the shot preceding it follows through. I figured since I had to make yet another run cycle, why not characterize it a little differently anyway?
The second to last shot to get penciled was the one where the kitten looks up at the ghost and the moon, anxiously looking from side to side. I definitely sense this shot's potential to become a good "promotional" image for the film.
I also started dabbling with procedures that I'll be using to color and line everything, but have not progressed significantly on this endeavor yet.
So since this is a special milestone, I'll share the roughs for both of those shots, and a first look at what the cats may actually look like in color!
Ideas are finally flowing regarding titles for the film and names for the cats, so stay tuned for that impending shenanigans...
