Well...for the last ten days at school, I had planned to go to town on animating the sixth scene, making all those hours with no class count. The first day, I only got as far as the work on the shot below, where the ghost swirls around his human's legs. Then, as I was getting ready to finish it in the evening, there was an incident in which I ended up injuring the thumb on my drawing hand in a rather ridiculous way that I still cannot believe can mess one's thumb up this much. Nothing too serious, but it's been a brutal lesson of how much you need your opposable thumb to draw, and do a million other daily things you take for granted.
So sadly all I have to show for this week is this one little unfinished shot. I wish I had more. But I intend to get back on the grind over winter break after a week of rest for my hand. I want to have all rough animation done by the time I return to class in january.
