Every week I've worked on this project, I've wanted to accomplish more than I have, and in a way, this week is still no different.  However, this week was the first time I managed somewhat to surpass the goal for minimum progress that I set for myself, so I suppose that's growth.  In light of these issues, I now am keeping better inventory of the animations and assets I need to make, and have a more official production schedule that is now in progress.
This week came with three main tasks.  Firstly, cleaning up the storyboards on one of my stretch scenes to provide clarity on what my vision was for it.
Secondly, blocking out jumps! Both cats jump at some point in the film, in two different ways, so that seemed like a natural choice for which cat movement to learn next.  While still just rough stick figures at this point, I like that the personality of each cat is already visible in the ways that I'm having them jump.  So here I decided to put both our feline friends jumping in the same (now chaotic) shot for comparison.  The kitten's jump was especially fun, and I realized while making it that animating at least two of those four legs is now becoming more intuitive for me.
Finally, the third musical track for the film is now well under way!  I had not planned to cover that at all this week, but an idea sprung up, so if course I had to get it recorded while it was still fresh in my head.
